The energy at Parklands College was electric as the AGCCI girls stepped into the arena for our latest scrimmage. After weeks of fine-tuning, the team officially put the finishing touches on their robot and put it to the ultimate test.
It wasn't just about the hardware, though the highlight of the day was the alliance-building phase. Our team paired up with fellow innovators from other schools, learning that the best way to win is to work together. Between the intense matches and the collaborative problem-solving, the day was a perfect mix of technical triumph and genuine fun.
The journey didn't stop there, as the team took those lessons straight to the Regionals. Watching the robot evolve from a scrimmage prototype to a high-stakes competitor on the big stage was the ultimate payoff for all the late-night coding and testing. This video captures that transition: the grit of the practice field, the strategy of the alliance handshakes, and the pure excitement of seeing months of hard work finally come to life in the heat of competition.
