We realise that the landscape of learning, employment, and business in our communities and around the world has changed and is expected to change even more until such time that scientists and doctors secure a vaccine against COVID-19. We also appreciate that it has been a difficult time for most of our fellow South Africans – in particular those moms/pops/ breadwinners who have lost their sources of income - consequently the ability to feed their families during COVID-19. Our thoughts are with them, and we are hopeful that things will get better in time.
It is for that reason, that we encourage those who are keen on developing a new skill to try out free online courses offered by Google here. These courses are provided by a variety of international institutions including universities of Auckland, Helsinki, Monash, and Open University, etc.
As you select your choice of course ranging from Artificial Intelligence, to Technical Support Fundamentals, to Machine Learning, and many more, remember; "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself".
Our free online coding lessons continue, and we urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to register your child for a 40 minute interactive lesson about Digital Citizenship and Online Safety which will take place on 18 May 2020.
Warm Regards from,
